Why is it in the news?
With more people working virtually from home and a lot of us looking at finding a true work/life balance — it really is no shock that one of the upcoming fitness trends of 2016 will be working out at home using either subscription or free online fitness classes.
Sally Harrison, Director of Pro-align was recently quoted “Online physical education is one of the fastest growing fitness businesses in Australia and the world, and digital media is being built for health and fitness teachers to provide unique ways for clients to exercise at home. This is why I have created our comprehensive online library of exercise video’s which allows our clients to target areas at home in-between classes if they wish” she explained.
Sally goes on to say “When client’s need to focus on a particular area they can do this as often as they like in-between classes, during the day or in the evenings which will help them to get to their desired fitness level more quickly and then they have a qualified teacher in class to guide them on to the next level. Short classes like these can fit into anyone’s busy schedule, and participants can pick and chose what they want to do. So duration, intensity, level type and purpose are accessible with very little equipment. And all of these classes can be viewed on your phone, tablet or laptop.”
