Welcome to your Resistance Band Toolbox online learning course. This course will take you through the many exercises you can do with different types of resistance band. This course is ideal for Pilates Instructors, Personal Trainers and Allied Health Professionals for use during your classes or one-on-one sessions.
Resistance band is one of the most useful pieces of equipment that you can have. It’s inexpensive, lightweight and easy to store, as well as being incredibly versatile and adaptable for different bodies and different levels. You can use it for rehab patients recovering from injury, all the way up to your professional athletes and/or dancers.
The exercises have been grouped by body orientation:
- Supine
- Prone
- Side
- 4 Point Kneeling
- High Kneeling
- Standing
There is also a final section at the end for assisted stretches using the resistance band.
I recommend that you put in a few hours of self-practice outside of this course to learn the exercises, practice the variations and try the different resistances.
