Sally Harrison (Director)

Sally was born and educated in the UK and commenced her working career as a professional dancer. Following a sudden retirement due to knee surgery, she commenced her journey in physiotherapy and exercise rehab in 2002. It was at this time that she qualified in Pilates and realised the immense benefits from this form of exercise training. Sally combines her continuing love of exercise rehab, fitness and physiotherapy knowledge to provide innovative and results driven sessions.

Sally started pro-align in 2006 when she moved to the sunny shores of Sydney, and is looking forward to continuing to grow the business of Physio lead exercise rehab.

Sally Done

Sally graduated from Sydney University in 2002.  Since then she has practiced in both Sydney and London, specialising in Sports physiotherapy and working with various Sports teams, including the Sydney Flames Basketball team.  Sally’s interest in Pilates developed from her work in the Sports clinic and as a gymnastics coach, as a method of enhancing sports performance, reducing injury and as part of a rehabilitation program post injury.

Sally completed her Pilates training with Dance Medicine Australia and has integrated her gymnastics background to provide unique and challenging classes.  She teaches classes with Pro-Align in Roseville and works in Clinic during the week at Peakphysique, on campus at Sydney University.

Chloe Luscombe

Pilates

Chloe Luscombe was first introduced to Pilates whilst studying full time dance at Newtown High School of the Performing Arts. Whilst dance remained a passion, after dancing in Australia and the United States, Chloe went on to study Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney completing her degree in 2008. During her tertiary studies Chloe completed her Pilates mat training with Kimberly Garlick at the Pilates Room in Sydney and continued to work for the studio teaching a range of Pilates mat and prop classes for the 3 years. Chloe currently works fulltime in the public hospital system where she is enjoying gaining a wide variety of experience in areas such as antenatal and postnatal health and orthopaedic surgery. Chloe continues to extend her knowledge of Pilates by participating in regular studio sessions and formal training. She has able to combine her professional physiotherapy experience and practical knowledge to deliver a specialised class to a wide range of clients and looks forward to sharing this with you.

Sarah Jagger

Pilates

BSc Hons Biology, MSc Physiotherapy (Pre-Registration), Clinical Pilates Instructor.

Sarah qualified as a Physiotherapist from The University of Southampton, UK in 2006. Since
then she has been working within both the public healthcare and private practice. She has
experience treating patients with a wide variety of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.

Sarah has a keen interest in Pilates based exercise therapy and uses this as an integrated part of her role as a Physiotherapist. She is passionate about the management of postural problems, retraining movement dysfunctions and the application of Pilates for injury rehabilitation and its potential injury prevention benefits. She has completed her training over the last two years with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute. Sarah teaches Pilates classes at Roseville, as well as working at The Mater Hospital, North Sydney as an orthopaedic rehabilitation Physiotherapist. She enjoys the daily challenge of working with patients towards their individual fitness goals.

Emily Poole

Pilates

BSc (hons) Physiotherapy, Clinical Pilates Instructor.

Emily Graduated from the University of Hertfordshire, UK in 2006. After gaining experience in the UK working with sports teams, providing injury prevention and treatment, she then headed back to Ireland, to undertake extensive Pilates training at Rebalance Pilates and Physiotherapy. Emily continued to work in Ireland in physio clinics focusing on sports and ergonomic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, mat and equipment based pilates before moving to Australia in 2009. Emily has since broadened her experience through sports coverage and gym based physiotherapy. Emily’s key interests are in core stability re-training, postural correction, injury prevention, neck and back pain and lower limb injuries. She is currently working at Therapy Max in the Cook and Philip Aquatic Centre and teaches classes for Pro Align at Darlinghurst. Emily maintains her fitness through mountain biking, adventure racing, running and manages to ward off injuries through regular pilates.

Erin Riddell

Pilates

BPhty, Clinical Pilates Instructor

Erin first became involved in pilates while training in classical ballet and jazz danciing in Christchurch New Zealand. While attaining her Physiotherapy degree at the University of Otago, Erin qualified as a clinical pilates Instructor at Back in Motion Pilates and Physiotherapy. She taught a number of dance and pilates classes while completing her degree and in 2010 moved across the ditch to fabulous Sydney. She is currently working as a physiotherpist at Perfect Form Physiotherapy in North Sydney and is excited about working with Clients at the Roseville Pro Align pilates classes. Erin is dedicated to achieving clients’ goals in pilates by incorporating postural awareness, flexibility, core control and overall strength and stability training.
